Time for Mommy Moments! :D

For this custom Mommy Moments week, I chose to tell you more about my relationship with my adopted daughter Miura.

Since the day she became my daughter, I’ve felt a special attachment to this little bundle of joy, something more than just the joy to have a daughter; I could say it was like a sort of empathy that flows between me and her: we felt we could entrust our love in each other, without fears or regrets. And so we did.

Miura is very attached to me now, much more than her brothers are. We spend free afternoons doodling together, watching cartoons, singing and dancing on music. Those activities involve her brothers too, of course! but the ‘connection’ between Miura and I is somehow a lot stronger and deeper than the other kids.

Who knows? One day, when she’s older, she could say her mommy is her good friend too. ^^ I’m really hopeful for that day.
